Mike Price, a New Zealand automotive engineer, has created the world’s first motorbike hearse and now plans to open a factory to build similar bikes. The 600-kg Motorbike Hearse is powered by a Harley-Davidson 1,350cc engine and has an adjustable underbelly cradle capable of carrying 200 kgs.
The burnt orange Motorbike Hearse is 4.8 meters long and has a button to allow the coffin to slide out at 90 degrees. Although the Motorbike Hearse has two wheels--unlike other motorcycle hearses, which are often three-wheeled--the coffin-carrying hog requires two riders.
