Music-Switching Posters

'Change the Tune' Adjusts Tracks with Each Blow

Agency Republic, a creative agency in London, has devised a fun way to change song tracks on their Spotify-powered common audio system with a 'Change the Tune' poster. The motion sensitive poster changes the song track whenever someone or something strikes it.

The brainchild of Michael Robinson, the Head of Design at the agency, the poster is made up of a knock sensor, which is connected to an Arduino Nano (a circuit board) inside a Magic Box. This set-up is linked up to Spotify, the digital music service. Now, when anyone in the office throws anything at the poster, it moves on to the next track on Spotify.

The poster is a cool way to have some office fun and also get to know your colleagues taste in music.
