Breakable Illuminated Trees

The Mooz 'Taste Tree' Spreads the Christmas Spirit

The Mooz 'Taste Tree' is a gorgeous creation made entirely of porcelain plates and cups. The enormous and shimmering tree is located in the main square of Hasselt, Belgium. It is an annual tradition to install a tree in the square and this year, combined creativity with ingenuity. The festive tree will be up throughout and after the Holiday season.

It was designed by Inge Vanluyd and Stefan Vanbergen. The concept was to make locals a part of the process and piece. Every single item used in the giant tree was donated by a local resident. They rummaged through their cupboards and storage and contributed to the larger than life piece. It is a beautiful concept and Inge and Stefan pulled it off.

The Mooz Taste Tree unified locals and kept a Belgian tradition alive.
