Designed by the London-based 'Shiro Studio,' this modular bench is made from "ultra high performance concrete."

The modular bench system is called 'Uluru' has a long smooth surface that comes in a pale gray color that would suit homes, offices and other spaces in which casual seating would be required. Parts of this modular bench lift up to form supportive backrests and they can be removed or altered to form various seating configurations for the people using them. Although it is made from concrete, the bench has a non-porous surface which allows it to shine rather than appearing a dull gray color.

This modular seating system is diverse enough in its function and aesthetic that it can be placed in a variety of settings.
