This modified Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is unfortunately not something you can go into your local mobile phone store and buy. But if you're brave, skilled and adventurous enough, you can go about creating your own transparent-back version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
A particularly skilled and innovative DIYer went about working on this phone with a heat gun and a razor blade to leave its back exposed. If you want to try this at home, you'll need a heat gun to melt the adhesive holding the back on. You'd then have to pull out the suction cup and scrape the backing layer with a razor blade.
While this modified Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a DIY project, it's a thought-provoking one -- surely there are many smartphone users out there who would be up for owning a transparent-back smartphone.
