Miu Miu's Spring/Summer 2013 Line is Full of Fur

Miu Miu's Spring/Summer 2013 collection broke out on to the fashion scene at Paris' 2012 Fashion Week. While the line is meant to be worn during the warmer months, it is surprisingly full of heavy fur pieces, many of which come to followers of the Miu Miu brand in the form of shoulder-bound stoles.

Elaborate hide cuts compliment the abundance of fur pieces. Long leather capes done in nudes, blacks and navies are paired with stiff elbow-length gloves, sophisticated looks that are typical of the couture Miuccia Prada house.

Flats and open toe pumps lined the French catwalk. The shoes are perhaps the most weather appropriate pieces for this Spring/Summer line, although their high end embellishments make them ill-suited for cottage outings or casual barbeques.
