Useless Object Exhibitions

Mis-Manufactured Goods Celebrates Ineffectual Items

Most factories have their production methods down to an art, but Mis-Manufactured Goods shows what happens when the assembly process goes awry. But instead of sifting through industrial dumpsters to find these unique objects, artist Jeremy Hutchison actually requested that these be fabricated with incapacitating errors.

There has, however, been left room for some creativity, as the man behind this 'Err' Exhibition instructed his commissioned factory workers from Spain, Poland, India and China to give their products whatever fault they saw fit. The result is a collection of incredibly useless objects that have a utterly unexpected charm. The Mis-Manufactured Goods artifact miscellany comprises a shovel with a misplaced handle, a comb with no teeth and a pipe with no hole.
