Made by Russian Baker Olga Noskova, the cakes are so perfect that it is difficult to imagine ruining their effect by cutting into their flawless exterior to eat them. While the cakes are not complex in their shape or structure, the 'marble-like' exterior has people wanting the baker's recipe and technique. The blended effect is created by pouring multiple colors of icing over the cakes all at once, however this must be done with precision. The glossy, glass-like exterior is a more difficult and mysterious effect -- as it is unclear how one might achieve it.
Surely this design will eventually be replicated by a fellow baker at some point, however the secret to the glossy icing on these mirror marble cakes remains a mystery for now.
