The Marvelous Minimato Table Balances in an Asymmetrical Pose

If your math and construction skills are sharp, you should have no problem assembling a piece of furniture that's able to stand with firm stability. The Minimato Table does not embody the more basic principles of a symmetrical composition, rather taking the shape of an apparently precarious object.

Of course, Matthias Ferwagner's designed this quirky coffee table with full knowledge about how to distribute its weight cleverly in order to keep its abstract frame balanced. The resultant structure is a sort of Z shape that's created with five wooden dowels and a round level surface. One slanted wooden post acts as the spine of the Minimato Table; two pairs of additional sticks form tripods at the top and base to meet the circle and the floor and to keep them parallel.
