These miniature panda-looking puppies are a genetic anomaly. The puppies were born to two parents, neither of which bare any resemblance to pandas but they turned out with similar markings to the Chinese bear anyway.
Pandas are a trademark in China. The bears are so popular that the Chinese government uses them when trying to strengthen relationships with other countries. This litter of puppies was a split bunch as out of the six born, three of them have the panda markings.
Initially people believed that the miniature panda puppies just had their fur colored to mimic pandas but this isn't the case as a perfect 50% of the pups were born this way. People have been making demands for the puppies but their owner Shaojun Shi says they're simply not old enough yet.
