The "Power of Books" images seen here appeared in the 2005 artwork collection from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. I am far from an art connoisseur, but I believe that the artist, Mladen Penev, has found a memorable billboard concept that could be a very effective advertising tool.
With the demonstrated versatility of the images behind the book cover, one can simply change the words "The Power of Books" with a suitable advertising slogan.
For example, in the last butterfly image, the book cover could be a public service announcement that reads "The Ecstasy and LSD Manual for Dummies."
