The 'Melodrip' is a new pour-over tool that's being introduced on Kickstarter to help coffee drinkers improve the clarity of their coffee.
Rather than pouring directly from the tip of a kettle, the Melodrip serves as a filter between, offering greater precision and a "zero-agitation sprinkle" that helps to reduce the amount of particulates that end up in one's cup. As the pour is spread out over a greater surface area with this tool, the coffee is also evenly hydrated and heated. The Melodrip is comprised of either a stainless steel or a copper-plated handle, plus a dish component and a stick.
As part of its campaign on Kickstarter, Melodrip has already exceeded its initial crowdfunding goals, which will help bring the device into the hands of many passionate coffee drinkers.
