Medical Label Bandanges

This Clever Medical Design Turns Labels into Convenient Tearaway Bandages

Designers Bang Dae-in and Park Jin-kyeong have created this helpful medical label design that turns labeling into a functional medical tool.

The designers noticed that oftentimes after people take a shot with a needle, they need a bandage or cotton swab to deal with bleeding. They decided why shouldn't the medical label serve a dual-purpose once a medicine bottle's contents are empty?

This clever design turns labels into tearaway bandages that can be easily applied to wounds. Each label is covered in a protective film and a cushioned cotton pad. With this bandage design, health professionals can easily identify what medicine a person has immediately taken, and over time, the ink from the label fades away when you no longer need it.
