The Measure Exhibit by Fabrice Le Nezet is Gravity-Defying

The Measure Exhibit by Fabrice Le Nezet is a breathtaking architectural representation of the idea of measurement. Each of Le Nezet's colorful metal creations are bolted to the ceiling and arranged in a gravity-defying manner. The individual installations show metal piping attached to various concrete structures; these structures include smooth, cube-shaped structures, open concept walls and tilted concrete posts.

All of these concrete creations boast different weights, different angles and are suspended from different heights. These illustrations creatively combine raw and industrial material such as concrete and metal together. The shape of the colored metal piping resembles gum that has been stretched and pulled away from a surface it was previously adhered to.

The motivation behind these visual interpretations was to "materialize tension in a sense, to make the notions of weight, distance and angle palpable." Le Nezet's eye-catchingly simple installations rebel against gravity and expand our understanding of modern art.
