Japan is Introducing New McDonald's Food Inspired by Cherry Blossoms

In Japan, one of the telltale signs that spring has arrived is the appearance of cherry blossoms and now, McDonald's food in Japan is being infused with a little bit of spring as well.

In celebration of spring this year, McDonald's Japan is introducing new items to its menu, including the Sakura Teritama burger with a pink-tinted bun and Sakura Cherry sodas and floats.

It's been a cold and snowy winter in Japan this year, but the good news is that the cherry blossoms might even start blossoming on the trees as of March 20th. If you're a little more eager than that, McDonald's Japan will also be decorating its stores with cherry blossoms for this promotion, which will hopefully egg on the spring weather to come even sooner.
