Burger-Free Fast Food Joints

The Newest McCafé Restaurant Does Not Serve Burgers, Fries or Nuggets

McDonald's recently deviated from its traditional business model by opening up a new McCafé restaurant in Paris that does not serve the chain's famous burgers, fries or chicken nuggets. While McDonald's has been making many changes to its menu to appeal to changing consumer preferences, its new concept store gets as far away from traditional fast food as possible.

The new McCafé restaurant is located in Paris and serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, instead of Big Macs and Chicken McNuggets, the chain only serves up Parisian fare such as coffee, teas, soups, sandwiches and macarons. Not only is the menu different, but the interior is completely void of any of the chain's signage.

While this is not the first time McDonald's has tested out a new McCafé concept, this burger-free restaurant may be the best way to appeal to today's health-conscious consumers.
