Spikily Masked Mannequins

3Gatti's Masko Mannequins Attract Shoppers Using Atypical Facemasks

Italian architecture firm 3Gatti Architecture Studio has created Masko Mannequins, a new type of mannequin that gets a shopper's attention thanks to its unique face covering. The studio has created a variety of paper masks that cover the mannequin's entire face to make it look more eye-appealing to passing shoppers. The masks are made out of white paper and are folded, much like origami figures.

The masks on the Masko Mannequins range in size and shape, with some featuring spikes that jut out with others sporting smooth geometric surfaces that lay flat. The masks are designed to be a low-cost way to accessorize a mannequin, with 3Gatti calling them "aggressively edgy" and "cutting edge." The Masko Mannequins will make their debut at a store that 3Gatti Architecture Studio is designing in the central China city of Chongqing.
