GM Engineer Mark Stielow Puts 638Hp LS9 Engine Into ‘69 Camaro

Brad and Angelina? Nothing. Barack and Michelle? Also nothing. Corvette ZR1 LS9 Supercharged V8 engine and a 1969 Butternut Yellow Chevrolet Camaro? You have got to be kidding me.

GM engineer and pro-touring car builder Mark Stielow has joined these two entities to create the best mix of old school and new school to date.

The $21,000 engine (by itself) produces a ridiculous 638hp and 604lb-ft of torque making it GM’s most powerful production engine ever.

The car has been equipped with the ZR1’s wheels and braking system, as wells as a 6-speed transmission from a Viper in order to handle the power of the engine modifications.

Performance details have yet to be released, however, if you don’t see this baby in action, you’ll probably hear it or feel it.
