Bee-Themed Beer Glasses

Joseph Holt Debuts the Limited-Edition Stripped 'Manchester Bee Glass'

By combining two of Manchester's iconic symbols, bees and beer, Joseph Holt Brewery unveiled its newest stripped pint glass -- the Manchester Bee Glass. According to Joseph Holt's website, the worker bee is a symbol of the city's Industrial Revolution history, where factories were nicknamed as beehives thanks to their industrious environment.

The limited-edition glass was created by advertising agency Cheetham Bell to tap into the spirit of the city and pay homage to the renowned brewery. At first glance, the Manchester Bee Glass appears to be striped black and clear, but once the pint is filled with, the yellow of the beer replicates the iconic black and yellow stripes of the worker bee.

The limited-edition glass can be purchased at participating Joseph Holt pubs while supplies last.
