If you're a Star Wars fans, one of your dreams growing up might have been having a Wookie to hang out with like Han Solo did; photographer Mako Miyamoto's work fantasy to reality by depicting modern-day Wookies living it up. The photographer wasn't able to recruit real Wookies, but instead outfitted friends and family with Wookie masks.
The photographs are at once amusing and slightly disturbing. They show everything from a happily married Wookie couple, a Wookie ordering another drink at the bar, a Wookie performing yoga in a park and more.
