Bubble-Bellied Benches

The Mad Horse Table Breeds a Smooth and Bulbous Surface

As outlandishly animated as the Mad Horse Table is, I imagine it would be an incredible feature piece in an otherwise minimal interior. The ebony-hued object incorporates a slick surface finish, supported by four rotated equestrian legs below a mass of bulbous forms.

Perhaps representing an overabundance and formal exaggeration of a mare's muscles, the cluster of black balloon shapes afford the furniture an element of intrigue and a lighthearted look. Many of the specifics of this piece are unfortunately unknown, like the material (most likely some form of polymer), and the dimensions. I'd love to see this unusual object as the focus of a dining room, but it would be still quite amusing as a coffee table.

Designed by Samuel David Ben-Shalom, the Mad Horse Table can be ordered through Talents Design Icons.
