Lucas Zanotti has Created a Humorous Series by Using Eyes on Rocks

Photographer Lucas Zanotti has managed to create a beautiful, yet humorous series by attaching eyes onto rocks.

Entitled 'HAVING A FACE,' Zanotti has found lush green scenery that has a rock or a fallen tree as its centerpiece. He then uses a cutout that resembles a human eye and attaches it onto the object. It is strange how adding this one feature onto an intimate object allows it to have personality.

The faces that are on these rocks are humorous, and it feels as though they are looking back at you. Even though the eyes seem to steal the spotlight, the background of the photos are beautiful, and even without the eyes, this series would still be very nice. Lucas Zanotti figured that by adding a human feature to these objects he would create a humorous collection, and these googly-eyed rocks are definitely funny.
