Umbrella-Clad Workspaces

Grupo Gallegos Agency Receives a Makeover from Lorcan O'Herlihy Firm

Lorcan O'Herlihy firm redesigned the workspace of the creative agency Grupo Gallegos, and decided to clad the roof with a number of white umbrellas.

The space used to be used for a cinema company, so to keep with this aesthetic the roof lights combined with the umbrellas look similar to what one might find in a creative studio. Most of the office takes on quite an open design concept, which usually encourages collaboration (something that's quite important for a creative agency). There are also sets of large stairs that lead to other departments in the office, but for the most part everything is quite open with everyone able to see into other people's work environments.
