X Allows Premium+ Subscribers to Create Long-Form Articles

X is introducing the ability for users to create long-form articles on the social platform -- the catch is that only verified organizations and Premium+ subscribers will be able to access this. This updated feature adds a basic text-editing function which is finished with embedded media and other text formatting options including the ability to make bullet points.

This also shows articles that can be longer than the current 25,000-character limit in place of the longer article feature. Notably, this project to create longer formats came into fruition a while ago -- in 2022, Notes was introduced and users were encouraged to use the service. It was meant to attract newsletter writers and other creators.
