In-Flight Musical Concerts

Southwest Airlines is Offering Live In-Flight Entertainment

Warner Music Nashville partnered with Southwest airlines to offer guests live in-flight entertainment, to help engage passengers during the final stretch of their journey.

Because of the tight space and the lack of electronic resources, the musicians are required to perform with minimal equipment, resulting in an unobtrusive and easy-to-plan entertainment alternative. The up-close venue pop-up offers guests the chance to experience a band which they would have likely never seen in concert, in a setting that's more intimate than most venues. These in-flight performances were designed to broaden a consumer's expectations of airlines, viewing the journey as an extension of the holiday, instead of a something tedious.

These intimate concerts offer the consumer an unconventional way to pass the time, that doesn't require the airline to reconfigure its services.
