Little Shinning Man is an artistic design kite created by Heather and Ivan Morison. The kite is designed to give the illusion that it is a big, heavy metal cube. That illusion is quickly broken when you see the shimmering kite take flight in a strong wind.
Little Shinning Man is made using 23,000 individual components and took an astonishing 16 months to assemble. The kite is made up of carbon-fiber rods, a handmade composite fabric used on yacht sails and specially designed nylon connectors. The kite's unique design is based off of the kites created by inventor and father of the telephone Alexander Graham Bell. When the kite is in the air it is truly a sight to see, especially when the sun strikes it and it becomes a brightly lit cube.
