Listen to Your Hands by Lee Sanghyeok Explores Object-User Experience

The Listen to Your Hands table is a unique piece of furniture that encourages people to interact differently with the inanimate objects in their households. The concept may be simple enough, but the interaction created is rather unusual. Basically, the drawers are interconnected in such a way that when one is closed, another one is opened simultaneously. This action requires people to really think about their own actions when it comes to the Listen to Your Hands table.

Created by Korean designer Lee Sanghyeok as an exhibition for the Berlin International Design Festival DMY, the Listen to Your Hands table appears to be having a conversation with itself. Nevertheless, it is simply opening up a dialogue with its user.
