Lindt and Gia Offer a Decadent Dark Chocolate Experience

Michelin-starred Toronto restaurant Gia, in collaboration with renowned Swiss chocolatier Lindt, offered a unique culinary experience, "After Dark," from May 18 to June 1. Spearheaded by Gia’s Culinary Director Matthew Ravenscroft, the exclusive menu highlighted the richness, versatility, and indulgence of dark chocolate.

The special menu integrated Lindt's EXCELLENCE Chocolate into both sweet and savory dishes, presenting a gastronomic adventure that allowed guests to find their perfect dark chocolate pairing. Among the featured dishes were the Carrot Tartare with Lindt EXCELLENCE Orange Intense and an olive crumble, and Wild Mushrooms served with a chocolate demi featuring Lindt EXCELLENCE Sea Salt. A delectable dessert, Textures of Chocolate, completed the meal, featuring chocolate crumble, sponge cake, and cremeaux, all incorporating Lindt EXCELLENCE 70%.

The launch of this collaboration was celebrated with an influencer and media-tasting event hosted by Edelman on May 17, where guests were invited to explore their perfect dark chocolate pairing. This unique collaboration between Lindt and Gia exemplifies the potential for luxury brands to merge their offerings, resulting in an unprecedented dining experience.
