This is made possible since they are fashioned out of Tyvek, a type of paper made out of flashspun high-density polyethylene fibers that is incredibly strong and durable.
The brainchild of Token Hu, the founder of Unbelievable Testing Laboratory, the Light Wing Trainers may be made out of 'paper,' but due to the special material, it is breathable and waterproof. Not even some of the more standard shoes out there can boast those basic qualities. The first Light Wing Trainers has been dubbed The Pencil and is already in production.
