Nicole Scherzinger Lights Up in This High-Tech Light Up Twitter Dress

High-tech meets high fashion with this mesmerizing LED haute couture Light Up Twitter dress created by fashion-tech firm, CuteCircuit. The dress, worn by celebrity singer Nicole Scherzinger, made its debut at the launch of the new EE-4G mobile network party. It is made up of more than 2,000 LED lights and illustrated tweets in real time with the hashtag #tweetthedress. The same night, Scherzinger performed sporting the dress, which continuously changed color and became brighter as the concert carried on.

Not skimping on its haute couture quality, the dress was also made up of French silk chiffon and embroidered with more than 500 Swarovski crystals. Though the light up dress is not a new concept (previously seen on such celebrities as Katy Perry and in this years Paris Fashion week), showcasing live tweets adds an interesting and intriguing twist to the old idea.

The geek meets chic concept makes the light up Twitter dress a mesmerizing addition to the new wave of wearable media.
