I love to see that LEGO art is as strong as ever with no end in sight. LEGO Mario is a testament to the longevity of the famous building block toy craze and how people are coming up with more detailed and more elaborate pieces all of the time.
Created by Dirk VH, LEGO Mario stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs over 110 pounds and is comprised of approximately 40,000 LEGO bricks, holy @%$&! I used to be proud when I could build a little car out of the stuff.
LEGO Mario combines two favorite childhood passions which is why I think it’s safe to say it is the greatest sculpture ever assembled.
