Jean-Charles de Castelbajac's Toy Runway

Let me start out by declaring that I have always loathed anything LEGO--that is, until I saw this really enchanting video.

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, a French fashion designer, came up with the novel idea of doing virtual fashion shows using only LEGOS as his sets, models and audience.

De Castelbajac, who joined the legions of president-elect Barack Obama’s admirers by showcasing a collection of Obama-inspired wear recently, surprised the fashion industry with his quirky choice of this virtual venue.

And on a different note, I could have sworn that I saw Anna Wintour’s LEGO mug in there.
