Sustainable Teepee Designs

The Website Design for Le Tipi Highlights Its Sustainable Elements

Studio Meta designed 'Le Tipi,' the website of French craftsman Jean Lehmann, who specializes in creating eco-friendly teepees from sustainable materials.

The teepees, which are largely used for camping, are a living space that "promot[e] communication and exchange." The traditional nomadic home of the Indians has been redesigned for family and professional hosting use, using two different types of processing cotton or polyester materials. The conventional treatment, which protects against water and rot, is typically used a few times of year, whilethe 3i M2 coated treatment technique, is used in the case of extended use (summer or day camps).

The website is designed to reflect the principals of the product design: simplicity, conscientiousness and, of course, sustainability.
