Personified Pup Perfume Ads

'Le Chien' is Unusual and Amusing

As photographer Lee Towndrow explains on his Behance page, 'Le Chien' photoshoot was intended as a faux perume ad. As anyone with a smattering of French probably will pick up on, the model for this shoot was a dog.

According to Towndrow, the dog was less than cooperative. In fact, he says that halfway through the shoot, the self-absorbed model took a nap! Still, thanks to the photographer's and crew's professional patience and skill, the work was eventually completed.

The art and creative direction of the ad was provided by Mike Blanch and Lance Martin, respectively. Alanna Nathanson was responsible for the copywriting while Lee Towndrow and Brett Simms deserve credit for the photography and digital imaging.
