Speed Record Crushing Choppers

The Lawless Electric Rocket Drag Bike is Crazy Quick

The Lawless Electric Rocket drag bike hit a record breaking land speed of 201.37 mph, which makes it the fastest high-speed e-chopper in the National Electric Drag Racing Association's history.

This turbocharged cruiser can gun it from 0-201 in under 7 seconds without dumping any carbon pollution into the air -- unless you count the smoke accumulated from burning rubber down the track. The high speeds achievable by the bike can be attributed to the 355V Li-ion battery pack which boasts 1,305 hp. The one downfall, however, to this powerful power source is the weight of the battery itself -- which tips the scales at 268 pounds.

Assembled through a collaborative effort between Ohio's Lawless Industries, NEDRA and the Orange County Choppers, this drag cycle proves that performance does not have to suffer when reducing one's carbon footprint.
