Cork Task Lamps

The Kurk Desk Light by Craig Foster is Flat-Packed and Eco-Friendly

The Kurk Desk Light is a minimalist task light with a quirky touch. In place of the typical metal lampshade, it features a cork one in addition to other cork parts. While the general design of the lamp might be basic, that does not take away from its character. Instead, the cork gives the Kurk Desk Light a softer, curved appeal that will win over the hearts of many.

Designed by Craig Foster, a furniture, lighting and product designer hailing from the United Kingdom, the Kurk Desk Light requires no glue or screws to put together. Each part of the lamp can also be recycled or reused, making it a very eco-friendly product. It was even awarded top spot for the 2012 BDC New Designer of the Year award.
