Ultra-Thin eReaders

The Kindle Voyage is the Thinnest Amazon eReader

The Kindle Voyage is the 7th generation Kindle launched by Amazon, and will take over from the Paperwhite as Amazon's flagship eReader device. It is Amazon's most advanced eReader yet, and is lighter and thinner than previous models in addition to boasting a more advanced display and better-designed user interface.

The device will be offered in WiFi only or WiFi+3G variants, as is commonplace with Amazon's eReaders. The devices have 4 GB of onboard storage, with customers able to access free cloud storage of all Amazon content. The device charges via USB in around three hours, and can last up to six weeks on a full charge depending on usage.

The Kindle Voyage is available for pre-order. The WiFi model is priced at $199 while the 3G model can be yours for $269. The devices are scheduled to ship in October.
