Keyless Check-In Systems

This New Hilton System Lets Members Check In With Their Smartphones

Hilton's all-new keyless check-in system allows Hilton rewards club members to use their cellphones to open their rooms. This means members no longer have to worry about carrying around physical room key cards.

This innovative keyless check-in program is only the latest example of Hilton embracing technology to increase customer convenience. Just last summer, the hotel giant introduced mobile room selection for Hilton Honors guests, with this keyless check-in and room entry system being but an extension of that.

The program was announced at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town and the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport, and will be introduced in 250 hotels in the Hilton Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria and Canopy brands. This means a total of 170,000 rooms will feature keyless check-in by as early as 2016.
