Electrifying Coastal Fashion

Kenzo Spring Summer 2014 Leaves You Feeling Anything But Blue

The Kenzo Spring/Summer 2014 show during Paris fashion Week had the blues; that is, electrifying blues punched up the collection.

I wouldn’t be surprised if design duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon created the entire collection while holed away in an exotic seaside locale. Beyond the hue, the collection featured clear nods to a coastal aesthetic from wave-shaped skirts to a "No Fish… No Nothing" tee shirt.

As for shapes, the models wore straight-fitted mini skirts, sleeveless mini dresses, boxy jackets and crop tops for a very streamlined look. The models were accessorized with cord necklaces, high-heeled sandals, and matching printed bags. Overall, this collection screamed with stimulating colors and a luxurious resort vibe. The Kenzo Spring/Summer 2014 collection is perfect vacation wear; especially if you’re jet setting to an oceanfront villa.
