The beachy Karolina Kurkova Vogue Ukraine photo shoot is a unique take on ocean photography. Instead of being dressed in bathing suits, sarongs and other typical beach fashion, Kurkova is shown lying and dancing in the water while wearing metallic formal wear.
The versatile Kurkova was shot by Hans Feuer for this editorial which proves to be a successful pairing. Feuer was able to capture Kurkova's sultry expressions with a naturalistic twist as he chose to use primarily natural light and soft colors. Kurkova is a fantastically vibrant model whose fierce expressions burn right into the camera along with her glittering ensembles.
One outfit in particular is absolutely stunning. It consists of an off-the-shoulder gold minidress that looks as if it is actually made out of gold-plated metal. The dress is breathtaking in the light and is hopefully a hint that metallic fashion will be the next major fashion craze.
