Canedo's photographic candidates are unabashed in their posing; comfortable and confident with their bodies and self in a way that's so rare, it garners immediate attention (and admiration). Whether it's their cheesy grins or exaggerated posturing, these bikini-clad babes and shirtless studs possess something we all probably we wish we had. Of course, their plentiful self-love is probably something that comes with age; most of Canedo's subjects are upwards of 50 years old.
If anything, Canedo's series will hopefully inspire us to check our inhibitions at the door the next time we're at the beach.
