Social Media-Friendly Coffee Houses

.Jpg Cafe Offers an Escape from the Bustling City

Coffee houses and social media go hand-in-hand and China's .jpg cafe is taking this concept one step further through creating an interior that's ideal for a photo sharing generation.

The cafe's interior was constructed by 'infinity nide' with the intention to give guests of the space a break from the sensory overload of the bustling city scape. To achieve this, the design team created what appears to be a net-like black abyss that serves as a backdrop for the interior's single counter. The design team intentionally eliminated tables and chairs from this cafe's interior so that it could serve as temporary escape for commuters that fosters a friendlier relationship between the consumer and the barista.
