Johannes Hemann Creates the '1000and1 Lokta Paper' Series

Johannes Hemann is an artist who has turned to foreign influences in his latest work titled 1000and1 Lokta Paper. The pieces are brightly colored, and the "sheets are created by pulling them through a frame – an adapted structure with straws developed in order to produce the three dimensional shapes," according to DesignBoom.

This method results in what almost looks like a school children's project. However, instead of coming across as just being thrown together, the pieces have a chaotic charm to them, making them perfect for storage such as jewelry. Moreover, the collection could also be used as a centrepiece for when people come over for dinner.

The collection comes with a number of different colors, most of which are bright hues. Photo Credits: designboom, johanneshemann
