Artist Joe Bagley's images are made from paper only. Based in Boston, Bagley places black on to white paper and then orchestrates cut outs with an Xacto knife.
Bagley's final product remains precise throughout. His depictions of homes, trees and waterbeds appear much like a photograph or painting, though they have all been done here with the splices of the knife.
Shape and dimension also come through Bagley's work. In one particular picture of tree branches, he teased these elements out via 25,000 holes, all punched into the paper based medium. He has therefore demonstrated just how little a talented artist needs to relay detail as he has done away with paint, markers, crayons and just about most tools.
