The Jenny Okun 'Dreamscapes' Series is Fantasical

The Jenny Okun 'Dreamscapes' photographic series combines various overlapping images captured using multiple exposure shots to create mind-bending imagery.

Each building is photographed multiple times and the images are layered on top of each other in a manner that bends perceptions on what is real and what is not. The landscapes blur so smoothly together that each shot seems as though it could have been taken as a single image, closer inspection gives away the photographer's bending of time and space.

While the images are dreamlike and imaginative, Okun has said that her inspiration came rather from the fact that a building can not be truly experienced from one perspective alone all at once.

The photos will be on display at the Craig Krull Gallery in Los Angeles until the end of April.
