Every year, the annual Jell-O Mold Competition hopes to reinvent not only jello, but desserts in general.
Take a look at the attached pictures and tell me what you see: A duck, a pile of pancakes and an emptied magazine of bullets. Where's the jello, you ask? Inside the food. If anything, the Jell-O Mold Competition serves as a national reminder of the culture surrounding the 200-year-old treat and the imaginative uses for it. After seeing these creations, I'm prepared to proclaim jello as the ultimate artistic tool.
As a solvent medium and as a meal, jello has grown to disproportionate importance within the past few months. From jello-infused computer parts to human-based gelatins, this childhood treat seems to attract the attention of everyone except children!
