Ivan Mavrov Turns Sheep Bones to Creepy Computer Peripherals

Ivan Mavrov certainly has an interesting career--he creates steampunked sheep skull computer mice (among other steampunk creations).

This computer mouse design by Ivan Mavrov uses sheep skulls to create a unique design. He does ensure the sheep died naturally before he uses the skulls, so I guess that makes it a little less creepy. At the very least, these brass mice are seriously intricate designs!

Implications - North American society is saturated with products which feature very similar design elements. As such, consumers are looking to the bizarre and macabre in order to feel a sense of exclusivity in the products they are purchasing. Corporations that can offer products and services satiating consumers' need to feel like an individual will fare better than those who relegate them to the general masses.
