For their first collaboration, London-based designers Laetitia de Allegri and Matteo Fogale designed the ISH Collection.
Each of the pieces in the range, which will be exhibited during this year's London Design Festival, appear as though they are made from stone; however, the products are fashioned from blended materials of recycled denim, paper and cotton. To be more specific, the products are made from slate-ish, denimite and marblus. Slate-ish is made by laminating recycled black paper, and is typically used for kitchen counters. Denemite, on the other hand, is created using post-industrial scraps of denim, which culminates in a bio-composite that is malleable and agile, yet durable. Finally, marlbus is made from white cotton and polyester scraps sourced from clothing and sheets.
The collection is comprised of shelves, side tables, tableware, a wall-mounted mirror and a bench.
