Bionic Tripods

Iran's Biopod is Like a Cricket

Designer Morteza Faghihi from Iran has won a reddot design award in 2008 for his creative bionic tripod design, Biopod.

Seemingly inspired by a cricket, Biopod becomes one with nature and offers extreme flexibility in placing the camera on uneven surfaces and typically impossible angles.

The design also allows for easy height adjustment, making it the perfect tripod for your outdoor and jungle photography.

Iran seems to be fascinated with insects, animals and technology. Trend Hunter recently featured a story about Iran arresting two pigeons on suspicion of spying.
