The Gulf Restoration Network Interactive Postcard is Awesome

Almost one and a half years have passed since the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, and while the spill is no longer getting coverage, the region still suffers from the after-effects of the spill.

M&C Saatchi, Switzerland has worked with the Gulf Restoration Network, New Orleans, to design an interactive postcard to bring back people’s attention to the still-unresolved situation in the Gulf of Mexico.

The postcard shows an empty shoreline and reads ‘We need more hand.’ When the receiver of the interactive postcard places his or her hand over the postcard, an image of a bird appears there. Simply put, the Gulf Restoration Network is looking for more assistance from people to revitalize a region that has still not recovered completely from the oil spill.
